The Beauty Health Group, owners of Hydrafacial, have revealed their inaugural Skintutition Report. A compilation of insights, trends and predictions based on clinical studies, data and performance from the company’s pioneering brands and its global network of professional skin health providers, the report reflects on the trends that shaped 2023 and those that will emerge in 2024.

Key highlights:

  • 133% increase in demand of top to toe body treatments globally
  • 52% growth in Hydrafacial Body treatments
  • Peptides come out on top with 40% of Hydrafacial boosters delivered globally containing this hero ingredient
  • Ageless appeal of Hydrafacial JLO Beauty Booster
  • Under 35s favour Vitamin C skin boosters such as Murad Vita-C and Omorovicza Advanced Skin Renewal

“We are thrilled to unveil our first-ever Skintuition Report and share insights culled from our connected platform and global community of skin health providers. This year’s data reveals an appetite for retro ingredients with novel delivery methods and a growing interest in body—especially booty—skincare treatments,” says BeautyHealth Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Amy Juaristi. “What’s more, consumers continue to show they are committed to investing to achieve flawless skin, often combining Hydrafacial with other aesthetic treatments—a trend we see as the ultimate quiet luxury power play.”

When it comes to consumer habits, the group has seen an increase in demand across the board for body treatments, up 133%. Consumers are now looking neck-down when it comes to skin health, opting for top-to-toe treatments, with the under-25s focusing on the back and booty. Hydrafacial’s body treatments alone are surging, with a 52% increase in demand year on year.

With a spotlight on ingredients, Hydrafacial providers are seeing an increase in demand for Peptide-Infused facials. 40% of Hydrafacial customers had a treatment in 2023 that included a Peptide booster, showing a return to more classic ingredients that often get overlooked.
