Event Review: Pause Live!

November saw Pause Live! The sister consumer-focussed event to Menopause in Aesthetics (MiA) take place in London. 
 
Over 1,500 visitors headed to the Business Design Centre in Islington to attend the ultimate ladies’ day out. 

An educational stage, sponsored by Hormone Health, featured talks from leading experts, including  Dr Raquel Amado, Dr Nicola Clayton, Nigel Denby, Dr Masud Haq, Dr Anne Henderson, Dr Martin Kinsella, Dr Shirin Lakhani, Dr Ioannis Liakas, Dr Ginni Mansberg, Dr Liz McCulloch, Dr Charlotte Norton, Dr Kate Organ, Dr Maja Schaedel and Dr Zoe Schaedel.
 
The Live Stage, presented by Vicky Eldridge and Leanne Stott, featured lots of fun and laughter with comedy legend Jenny Éclair, pop star Sinitta, Nicole and Joe Sealey from the Cheshire House Wives, Rants and Big Pants, The Wonderbirds, and The Menopause Mayhem Mother among the guests. 

The event had a big community feel, and there were lots of conversations taking place that helped women feel more empowered and prepared for menopause.
 
The Wellness hubs, sponsored by Pharmstrong, were a place to seek some calm, enjoy meditation and breath work or have some fun learning different types of exercise. The hula-hooping session with Shakira Taylor had everybody laughing.
 
The three workshops focussed on menopause and cancer, POI, and HR and saw a lot of insightful and, in some cases, emotional conversations taking place and helping ladies find their tribe.
 
There was also a competition where each exhibitor had a QR code had to be scanned for the chance to win a retreat with Enaiya in Spain
