Members of the press were invited to Beyond Medispa at Harvey Nichols for a press breakfast and briefing entitled Let’s Get Intimate with Dr Shirin Lakhani.
Covering topics including menopause, sexual wellness, incontinence hormones, Lichen Sclerosus, and men’s health, the event also included a panel discussion with experts from Dr Lakhani’s sponsor partners for the event – InMode, Roseway Labs and Nuchido Time + – with informative discussions on women’s wellness, biological ageing, compounding, hormones and the latest advancements in the industry and cutting-edge technologies. Journalist Vicky Eldridge also joined the panel to share her experience with InMode’s VTone and Morpheus8 V.
“We need to move away from the idea that women’s health is only relevant when you’ve had children or are going through the menopause”, Dr Lakhani said. “I want an environment where men and women can be completely open about how they are feeling. I want the education to be there for not just medical professionals but also the public.”
Talking about menopause, she added, “For men, hormones decline like a gentle stroll down a hill. For women, we fall off a cliff.”
But that doesn’t mean men’s health should be neglected, in fact, Dr Lakhani also used the event to introduce her new supplement P-Tox for boosting testosterone, improving blood flow and enhancing libido and strength of erections.
