Croma hosted a two-day anatomy workshop for delegates in the city of Vienna, Austria on 16th and 17th May. The course was taught by two esteemed practitioners, Dr Konstantin Frank & Dr Rita Poddar, and was attended by international delegates including the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Nordics.
After welcoming delegates at Croma Headquarters, day one consisted of theoretical sessions with Dr Konstantin Frank covering ‘Ageing of the face and how we counteract it’ and Dr Rita Poddar discussing ‘Countourel® Polydioxanone (PDO) Threads in Facial Rejuvenation: Composition, Clinical Applications, Anatomical Considerations, and Selection Criteria’. The evening ended with a dinner.
This was followed on day two with a guided tour through the Croma state-of-the-art manufacturing site and a laboratory site.
After the tour concluded, delegates were split into small groups to work on cadavers under the supervision of Dr Rita Poddar and Dr Konstantin Frank.
The course provided a refreshed and improved understanding of facial anatomy, enabling practitioners to offer consistent treatment results with complication management and avoidance techniques.
The event concluded with a delegate and speaker dinner hosted by Croma's head office.
“The hospitality from the Croma team was above and beyond from start to finish. The two-day agenda was packed with beneficial learning, making it worthwhile to take time out of the clinic. The guided tour of Croma’s manufacturing site highlighted the impressive scale of their operations and the strict professional processes the Croma saypha® HA fillers undergo before we receive them. The training delivered by both Dr Konstantin and Dr Rita Poddar was exceptional. They made everyone feel very welcome and no question was a silly question. Thank you Croma for your great hospitality. This experience has definitely added value to my clinical practice, and I highly recommend it.”

“It was truly inspiring to witness the innovative work that Croma is doing in the field of aesthetics medicine. The theoretical sessions given by Dr Rita Poddar and Dr Konatantin Frank were incredibly informative and very engaging. I have attended hands on cadaver workshops before, however this was by far the best. I can only put this down to the extensive knowledge of the trainers and the way Croma had orchestrated these sessions. The attention to detail for the whole two-day workshop was outstanding from the theoretical lectures, transportation, restaurants and the hotel. I look forward to working with more Croma products in the future.”
