Improve dark circles (tear troughs)

Dark circles under the eyes are a common concern and associated with looking tired through lack of sleep or illness. The darker hollows or shadows under the eyes are in fact a defect of the tear troughs. The tear trough is an area which starts at the inner corner of the eye, where the tear duct is located and runs in a semi-circle shape under the eye. If the membranes in this area are weakened, such as the oribital septum, then this can make the hollowing and darkened appearance worse.
