Thank you for your enquiry about treatment for the forehead and eyes areas. If you were enquiring about anti-wrinkle treatment, this would involve injections of diluted and purified botulinum toxin, which help to reduce movement and lines caused by muscle contraction, in the areas injected.

It's worth highlighting that treating the forehead area without treating the frown may increase the risk of a heavier brow, as the forehead muscle, the frontalis, is responsible for elevating the eyebrows. Relaxing this muscle without also relaxing the frown muscle may result in a reduced ability to raise the eyebrows, resulting in a lowered or droopier look. The treatment cost for 2 areas is £215, and for 3 areas it's £270.

What are Anti-Wrinkle Injections?
Anti-wrinkle injections consist of small amounts of botulinum toxin type A which is administered with a tiny needle to the muscles in the face which cause your skin to crease and create wrinkles. This temporarily relaxes these muscles, reducing the appearance of the fine lines and wrinkles in that area as your skin is no longer able to be manipulated by the muscles as strongly as it was before. Botulinium toxin can be used to dramatically soften and even remove frown lines between the eyebrows, on the forehead and around the eyes (crow’s feet). It can also be used to prevent a “gummy smile”, where the top lip lifts to reveal the upper gumline when smiling, and to reduce and prevent excessive sweating in the armpits, which is known as hyperhidrosis.

What products are used?
We use the original botulinum toxin (branded as Botox®) which is produced and manufactured by Allergan. We believe this to give the most reliable results. Some clinics use cheaper alternatives.

AccuVein is a hand-held device which uses infrared light to highlight the vein network beneath the surface of the skin. This means that veins can be avoided during the administration of anti-wrinkle injections, significantly reducing the risk of bruising, helping to avoid the complication of a black eye following treatment.

Botox treatments for the face are priced per treatment area and differ slightly depending on which clinic you visit and which practitioner carries out the treatment. *Please note that for male clients the prices will be slightly higher as larger doses of botulinum toxin are usually required*.

How to book
A consultation with Dr Grant is required prior to all anti-wrinkle injection treatments (if you wish to have your treatment performed by Nurse Helen this can be arranged after you have had a consultation with Dr Grant) and the non-refundable fee for this consultation is £50 which is payable at the point of making the appointment booking to secure the appointment slot. This £50 consultation fee can then be used as part payment of your treatment or a product purchase over £100 within 3 months of the consultation date. Answer: Hi Louise - thanks for your enquiry. If it’s botulinum toxin you’re referring to then I charge £225 for 1 area, £275 for 2 areas and £325 for 3 areas. The forehead is generally treated with the frown and never separately. The appointment is for approx 45 mins.

The price for anti-wrinkle treatment is £190 for one area, £245 for two areas, and £295 for three areas. Just to note, the forehead can’t be treated in isolation—it always needs to be done alongside the frown lines (between the brows) to avoid an uneven or unnatural result. So if you’re looking to treat the forehead and crow’s feet (eye area), this would count as three areas and be £295.

You’ll need a consultation first, which takes around 10 minutes, followed by the treatment itself which only takes about 5 minutes. The effects usually start to appear within 3–7 days, with the full result visible at 2 weeks. Results typically last between 3 to 6 months, and a review can be arranged at the 2-week mark if needed.
