Answer: Hello Heather
Aqualyx is safe and effective at any age to permanently reduce stubborn pockets of fat.
It is perfect for small areas such as double chin and jowls.
Or small areas on your body, knees, and arms.
Usually 3-5 treatments with 6 weekly intervals which allow your skin to retract with the reduction in fat.
Aqualyx works by creating an inflammatory response that dissolves the fat cell, this does create obvious swelling for at least 3 days.
Tummys and love handles required multiple treatments because the fat layer is very thick and maybe best treated with Coolsculpting.
A personalized plan will be agreed upon with you at your consultation.
Kind Regards Dr Victoria

Answer: Dear Heather
Thank you for your question
Aqualyx is a great fat dissolving medicine and it gives good results.
There is no specific age span in which the treatment works or not, therefore your age would not be a limiting factor.
It would be important however for you to see a specialist doctor in order to discuss the area of concern and decide the best treatment and best options for the area.
At vie - aesthetics, a doctor only led clinic, we do provide aqualyx, as well as other adipose tissue reduction treatments, such as HIFU, cryolipolysis, etc…
During your consultation we would discuss with you all options and suggest to you the ones that would give you optimal results.
