Karen Sargeant,

Karen began her career in beauty therapy and went on to have a successful career heading a national chain of beauty salons. In 1993 she moved into Further and Adult education, and worked as an Advanced Practitioner responsible for raising teaching standards within a large training college and for the professional development of the beauty therapy team along with being responsible for the internal verification within the centre. Karen also worked with City and Guilds in the development and origination of NVQ courses.

Having gained her Certificate in Education, Karen has gone on to achieve a BTEC qualification in Laser and IPL procedures. She is the Practice Manager for Glancey Medical. Additionally she is the training coordinator for the Glancey Medical Associates group and specialises in advanced Laser and IPL techniques and skin health.
