We are almost halfway through 2024 (how has that happened?!).

We spoke to Dr Asha Chhaya, Senior Medical Injector at sk:n clinics to get the low down on what trends and insights she has noticed from her time in clinic so far this year…

  • Increase in demand for Polynucleotides‘I think is due to all the recent media coverage and peoples growing curiosity for treatments that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also regenerative’.
  • Increase in demand for lip filler: ‘I am doing a LOT of lip filler again, and not just lips in younger patients, lips in more mature patients. It seems that there is now more trust that lips can be done well and that injectable product choice has improved.’
  • Neck and décolletage‘This area seems to be very popular right now, noticeably more than previous years - probably with the summer months approaching and more skin due to be on show.’
  • Lower face Botox“Is being requested a lot more now.’
