Our advice is always ‘if in doubt, check it out’.

Any mole causing concern should be seen by a professional as soon as possible.

There’s no need to be embarrassed as it is often difficult to know what moles are of concern or not yourself.

Importance of checking moles

Your best bet is to leave it to your doctor to decide whether any specialist advice is needed. If that is the case then your doctor can refer you on the NHS or privately if preferred and they can then remove it for peace of mind and send it for testing to ensure it is all ok.
