In this issue, we are focussing on the eyes. One of the first areas to show the signs of ageing due to its delicate skin, treatments to address under-eye pigmentation, hollows or sagginess have long been popular. Yet, treating the eye area can be risky.

Before I sign off, I just wanted to say that I was very sad to hear the news of the passing of Dr Patrick Bowler, a pioneer in the sector. Patrick was a founding member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors, which later became the British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) and was for me personally someone I admired who was an integral part of my early years in aesthetics.
