Dr. Joanne McInerney, Clinic Owner / Aesthetic Doctor / General Practitioner

Dr Jo McInerney founded Cosmetic Skin Care in Windsor more than 11 years ago and has since opened branches in Old Amersham and The Lake District. She has been a GP for over 25 years and is still practising in the Windsor area. She has also worked as a GP in Australia and Spain. She completed all of her aesthetics training with Professor Bob Khanna.

In the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) Awards in November 2022, Dr Jo McInerney won the best full face sculpting award and was awarded 'Highly Commended' in the Best Lip Sculpting Award Category. Similarly, in 2017, Dr McInerney was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Lip Sculpting Award Category, and was shortlisted for Total Face Sculpting and Best Patient Journey.

In 2019, Dr McInerney set up a sister skin clinic in Windsor called The Skyn Gym. She works alongside Nurse Lucy Cooper, a fully-trained skin specialist. The Skyn Gym offers a wide range of treatments, including Profhilo, Secret RF, polynucleotides, skin boosters, pigmentation treatment, acne treatment, microneedling, facials and chemical peels. The clinic is an authorised Environ, Alumier MD, Obagi and ZO skincare stockist.
 
Dr McInerney is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC number 3204560) and fully insured with the Medical Defence Union (MDU). She was revalidated in December 2019 with ongoing revalidation every 5 years and annual appraisals.
 
Her interests involve keeping fit and travelling. She is a keen tennis player and golfer and has three children.
