BBC News reported on 6th November that “Minor cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections and dermal fillers are ‘very safe’ when carried out by trained professionals, say researchers”.
A key point raised by the report was the fact that it has become increasingly easy for anyone to offer minor cosmetic procedures without thorough regulation.
Personally I am delighted the report has recognised that minor cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections and dermal fillers are ‘very safe’ when carried out by trained professionals.

It is encouraging that Health Minister Dr. Dan Poulter has confirmed that new training standards for non-surgical cosmetic procedures are being developed to make sure that no one is given fillers or Botox by someone who isn’t qualified.
