Is a €600 Eye Lift Too Good to Be True?

A €600 eye lift has been growing in popularity at the Faceland surgical clinic, thanks to an increasing number of TikTok videos. With locations in The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, the price might seem tempting, but is it too good to be true?

The clinic offers a range of surgeons with varying experience levels - similar to that of a hairdresser. Faceland focuses on eye lifts and labiaplasties - but should you trust these 'professionals'?

We asked one of the UK’s leading oculoplastic surgeons,Professor Daniel Ezra, to weigh in on whether this bargain surgery can ever be a safe, effective option.

"With a price tag this low, it’s hard to imagine how the clinic can cover the necessary overheads, which could lead to serious compromises in the quality of equipment and facilities. When it comes to something as delicate as eye lift surgery, this cost-cutting could present significant risks."

"But the real concern goes beyond just the surgery itself. Blepharoplasty, like any cosmetic procedure, requires ongoing follow-ups to ensure everything heals properly and that the results are as expected. If complications arise or a patient is dissatisfied, these check-ups are essential for addressing any issues. High-quality clinics typically include these follow-up appointments in the cost of surgery. However, with a budget price like €600, there's a real risk that these vital post-surgery checks won’t be offered—or could be rushed—leaving patients without the support they need. This raises serious questions about the long-term safety and care involved."
