Answer: There are various causes of hyperpigmentation - some is created after skin which has been affected by chronic inflammation, after treatments like peels or laser, spots, acne or injury to the skin has been exposed to light without protection by UV sunscreens This is Post Inflammatory Hyper-Pigmentation
Some pigmentation is created due to hormonal disruption in pregnancy, the pill, menopause, medical conditions like Lupus, some antibiotics and medications make skin sensitive to UV light resulting in uneven skin tones.

We use treatments such as peels, microneedling, Plasma Shower transdermal delivery of mesotherapy solutions and LED light therapy in conjunction with a supporting home skincare routine to improve existing pigmentation & prevent new pigmentation.

Home skincare is a vital part of the treatment using ingredients like Vitamin C, retinoids, melanin (pigment inhibiting) actives like tranexamic acid and broad spectrum sunscreen EVERYDAY
We have 26 years experience in remedial skincare treatments for all ethnicities

Answer: Hi Imran,

Thank you for your email.

We would need to do an initial consultation with you to determine what sort of pigmentation it is that you have. Whether its post inflammatory, melasma, sun damage etc.

Common treatments for pigmentation would be medical grade skin care, laser treatments or plasma surgical.

If you would like to book an initial consultation, do give us a call and I would be more than happy to assist you further.

Best wishes,
Abbi

Answer: Dear Imran, This is a very broad answer that can't be answer without a skin consultation. There are many diferent types of pigmentation and many diferent ways of treating it depending on the type. It also depends on your type of skin, Treatments like laser, chemical peels, microneedling are often used to treat this condition as well as skincare with or without prescription. My advice would be to see a skin specialist so you can have specific advice to your specific type of pigmentation but I can leave you with a piece of advice. Make sure you use broadspectrum SPF daily to protect you pigmentaton from getting any worst.

Answer: Hello,

This is a great question, but there could be several answers. Pigmentation can be caused by different factors, including hormonal changes, sun damage, ageing or as a result of previous inflammatory conditions such as acne.

Treatment options will depend on the causes of the pigmentation, but may include:
-chemical skin peels to increase cell turnover,
-microneedling to stimulate skin renewal,
-medical grade skincare to lighten the pigment and prevent further uneven pigment formation,
-oral supplements to even out skin tone.

Please contact me at TD Aesthetics to book a consultation to discuss this in more detail. I'm a qualified nurse prescriber, and I work from clinic locations in Wigmore, Rochester and Sheerness in Kent.

Kind regards,

Answer: Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your enquiry!

There are a few treatments and products we could suggest to treat Pigmentation i.e. Micro needling, PRP, Chemical Peals, Hydro Facial and medical graded skin care. It is important to conduct a consultation and medical history prior to any advice as the treatment recommendation is determined by the severity and history of the pigmentation.

Please contact us direct and we will be more than happy to book an appointment with one of our Doctors.
