After qualifying in 1994, I specialised in Burns and Plastics as a theatre and anaesthetic nurse at The Royal Victoria Hospital (the centre of expertise in this field). I have a great love for learning and proceeded to study at Queens University obtaining a specialist degree as an Anaesthetic Nurse Practitioner. To further advance my skills I later qualified as Medical Prescribing Nurse.My enthusiasm in Plastic Surgery led me to non-surgical aesthetic procedures which seemed to be a natural progression for me at that time. I commenced aesthetic training in 2006 at a Birmingham practice and in 2010 went to live in Australia with my husband and two children where I continued in Aesthetics working with plastic surgeons and dermatologists in two practices in Adelaide.

Continual improvement and training are so important to me and each year I attend a number of training programmes with the pharma companies to advance my skills and knowledge. As an Aesthetic Nurse, it has also been important to continue to increase my knowledge of facial anatomy which leads to safe, effective and fulfilling treatments for my patients.
