Hope you are well and thanks for the email with all the details and pictures. They look really good :) It was really nice to meet you and talk to you yesterday. I think you spoke to me very honestly about all the options and the pros and cons of all available hair loss treatments. I have had a long think about all these. I am still unsure about the way I would like to wear my hair presently (either long or short) and given your fantastic explanation, I would want to understand how I want to see myself. My son started losing his hair in his late teens which really knocked his confidence. We looked into hair transplant surgery for him but were told that because of his age it was un advisable to have this type of procedure, he is now 22, as he did not have a stable donor area and would be likely to experience further hair loss. We did some research on the internet and found out about scalp micro-pigmentation. We booked a consultation with HAIR ink. in London and from the moment we met with Anouska she immediately put our son at ease. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and didn't just tell us all what we wanted to hear, but was very open and honest about what could be realistically achieved with scalp micro-pigmentation. It’s been 4 months since our son has completed his treatment and the transformation has been amazing. Not just in his appearance, he has stopped wearing caps and hats, but his confidence has returned. He is generally a lot happier and has started going for nights out with his friends more frequently. This treatment has been money very well spent.

I’ve had a receding hairline for a number of years and probably look far older that my age. I looked into having a hair transplant, but it was too expensive so last year I decided to shave my hair down and have scalp micro-pigmentation. I told my mates I was having this done and got the obvious mickey taking, but when they saw me after I had it done they were all really shocked about how good it looks. Exceptionally pleased with the results and can’t recommend this enough to anyone who is balding and wants a shaved down look. Alex

Scalp micro-pigmentation is the best thing that has happened to me and I would recommend this to anyone who has thinning hair or hair loss! As soon as I realised this treatment was available I had to have it done. It was not the fact my hair was thin that bothered me, it was the fact that when the wind blew you could see so much white scalp. I had tried shampoo, lotions and even coloured sprinkles. But they either didn''t work or couldn''t be used when my hair was wet. Even after the first treatment, I was amazed at the difference and had gained so much confidence when walking down the street in a breeze. I no longer check in shop windows to make sure my fringe is straight with no gaps, I don''t even give it a second thought now. I can now go to any hairdressers and not have to explain why I wear my hair a certain way and can go swimming without the fear of dark dye running through the water or trickling from my scalp. I''m so excited! My hairdresser was very, very, very impressed with my tattoo. First time she''d seen it and heard about it. It looks wonderful/great/brilliant (not enough words) The colour has held and its a bigger area covered now. I can even brush my fringe back now if I wanted too. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of my consultation and how knowledgeable the consultant was about hair loss and the broader solutions available. I had previously seen another well known SMP clinic when I was in The States, but they didn't really ask me the right questions and get to the bottom of what I really wanted. It was only when I saw Anouska at HAIR ink, who really took the time and effort to understand my hair loss history and understand my concerns regarding my hairline, that I had the confidence to proceed with scalp micro-pigmentation and was confident that I would get the look I really wanted and the hairline I would be happy with. I have had previous transplant surgeries, but really wanted to lower my hairline and had been told I wouldn't have enough donor hair for the thickness I wanted. I’ve had HPT® to fill in the gaps and give more density. It's perfect, having the grafts and the HPT® looks really natural. I got the hairline I wanted and am really, really happy with the results. Can’t recommend this treatment enough to anyone who maybe in a similar position and looking to improve the results of their surgery.

I have been suffering from male pattern baldness for almost 20 years and have been wearing my hair in a short cropped style since my mid-20’s. About 6 months ago I went to Holland to have an FUE transplant surgery where I had about 2,500 grafts split between my crown and front hairline. After 4 months I started to see a number of grafts coming through at my hairline but the crown was looking a little sparse. I was disappointed even though I understood that it would take about 12 months to see the full results of my surgery. I saw another surgeon in London who informed me that I should have probably had more grafts and would need to wait another 12 months until I could have an additional surgery to add more density. Having started this journey I was impatient to have immediate results, so I looked into scalp micro-pigmentation to give me the coverage I wanted whilst waiting for further surgery. It has been 2 months since I had HPT® with HAIR ink. and am so happy with the results. Even after the first treatment session I could see a massive difference and my shaven head, especially in the areas of the FUE treatment, looked far thicker. Now the treatment is complete the look is fantastic and I have had so many positive compliments. I had FUT surgery a few years back and was really pleased with the results of my transplant, but not with the big scar it left which looked like my head had been cut in half. If I had my hair short people would ask me what happened to your head? This was always embarrassing and made me feel very awkward and self-conscious. I tried cover up products to disguise the scar but I couldn't really get it even at the back so I looked into what else I could do. A friend of mine had scalp micro-pigmentation with HAIR ink. and I was really impressed with his results. I booked in with them for a scar camouflage treatment and liked their approach during my consultation. They understood exactly how frustrating it is to waste a lot of money on things that don’t really work. They were really informative and made me fully aware that this type of procedure for scars can be unpredictable. I never felt under any pressure to book with them me which is why I felt confident that they would do a good job for me a I'd already seen the quality of their work. I am really happy with the results of my treatment. When my hair is short the scar is far less visible and when it’s longer it’s not really noticeable at all. Keep up the good work. Sanjay

I really like swimming, but after my transplant I was very self-conscious about my scars. They were big, white and ran across the width of my head and when my hair was wet they were really obvious. I had heard about SMP and saw a couple of companies before deciding to go with HAIR ink. They gave me lots of information, answered all my questions clearly and without hassling me to commit financially with them. I definitely made the right choice and am really happy with the results. The service I got throughout my course of treatment was exceptionally and would happily recommend them to anyone considering this type of treatment.
