Got a question? We have several ways for you to contact Dr Tanja Phillips Medical Aesthetic Clinic.
When we launched the Laser Clinic in 2016, our aim was to provide a uniquely different clinic experience, where outstanding expertise and quality of treatment go hand-in-hand with highly professional and friendly customer care. These attributes run through every step our patient’s journey, from your first contact with the clinic to your consultation, treatments and post treatment reviews.
Patients are seen at our consulting and treatment rooms at The Candover Clinic.
This is a private medical facility offering high-quality healthcare. Designed entirely for patient well-being and comfort, it is a stand-alone unit located on the highly regarded Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital campus.
The clinic is open from 9am-8pm Monday to Friday as well as some Saturday mornings. Our reception team is available by phone, email or in person, to guide you through your time at the clinic.
BOOKING A CONSULTATION
When you contact us, we start with an informal chat, asking about your concerns. Our experienced staff will be able to go through potential treatments that can help with your concerns. We will also address any wider areas of skin/body concerns you may have and guide you towards which treatments may be most beneficial for you. If you decide you would like to have an initial consultation to discuss your concerns and treatment options in more detail you will be offered an appointment with Dr Tanja Phillips.
You will also be sent an information pack, including a medical questionnaire that will need to be completed prior to your first consultation.
PRE-TREATMENT CONSULTATION
Dr Phillips will talk through your concerns and what you would like to achieve from your treatments at the clinic. Dr Phillips will explain what treatment options are available for you and your likely outcome from our award-winning Fotona laser. Your medical questionnaire will be reviewed and you will be given the opportunity to have a patch test. This entails laser treatment on a small area using the same parameters required for your treatment. The patch test helps you to know what to expect in terms of sensation and any reactions your skin may have to this treatment.
QUOTATION
After your consultation, we will send you a quotation for your treatment and a suggested treatment plan. If more than one session is required, we will include the number of recommended sessions and the length of time each appointment is likely to take.
We are always happy for you to contact us with any questions you may have. Once you have decided to proceed we book your appointment and payment is due 48 hours before the treatment.
YOUR TREATMENT
At your first appointment you will be required to sign a consent form and your treatment will be discussed in detail to ensure you are happy with all aspects of the procedure. We always take photographs pre and post treatment to be kept on your personal medical records. This is an important part of the process to help us monitor the successs of the treatment. Your consent is also required for the taking of images. During the treatment you will be advised on follow up appointments and post-treatment care to ensure best results.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
Patients are always encouraged to come back to see Dr Phillips for a courtesy review appointment. This is a great opportunity to review your progress and look at the before and after images.
Dr Phillips can also discuss any ongoing or future maintenance, prescribe relevant at-home skincare if required, as well as discuss any other treatments you may wish to consider.
