Mr Philip Coleridge Smith is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon, and a leading expert in vein problems. He is well known as President of the British Association of Sclerotherapists and for his publications on varicose veins, ultrasound imaging in venous disease, surgical treatment of venous disease and the skin microcirculation in patients with venous ulceration. He has pioneered the introduction of ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy, for varicose veins, into the UK.
