MS, FRCS (Plast)

Miles Berry is by all accounts an expert cosmetic surgeon, the ‘(Plast)’ accreditation following his name signifies he is a qualified practising surgeon (FRCS), who has completed specialist training in the field of Cosmetic and Plastic reconstructive surgery. He has a proven track record in a broad number of cosmetic surgery procedures and also sub-speciality surgical focus in Breast Surgery & Labiaplasty which is evident through his research, training & operating history.

He has worked in the industry since 2007 & is on the GMC Specialist Register (registered as Plastic Surgeon) which means his success rate is closely audited and his performance monitored. He belongs to a number of official UK cosmetic surgery governing bodies including RCS (The Royal College of Surgeons), BAAPS (The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) & UKAAPS (United Kingdom Association of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons. It is also worth noting Miles is BUPA accredited which in itself is a strong seal of approval.

With over 60 scientific articles, he maintains a strong interest in research and evidence-based practice. Work in the field of Aesthetic Surgery has twice been rewarded with the BAPRAS Aesthetic Prize (2011, 2012). Miles has co-authored 2 textbooks (On co plastic Breast Surgery and Adverse Capsular Contracture, both are breast surgery related texts) and his series of review articles for the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery -was awarded ‘Best Paper of 2011’. In 2013 he published “The Good Boob Bible”: a comprehensive guide for women considering breast augmentation. 

A favourite with the UK national media, Miles is regularly called upon for his expert comment in publications such as The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Sun, Marie Claire, The Mail Online, The Huffington Post, BBC Radio, Evening Standard.
