Dr Steven Land

Dr Steven Land MBBS MRCEM is an aesthetic doctor, founder, and clinic director of Novellus Aesthetics in Newcastle upon Tyne. His career in medicine spans more than 20 years, encompassing training in general medicine, surgery, plastic surgery, and emergency medicine. It was this wide-ranging clinical foundation, combined with a longstanding belief in helping people reach their full potential, that led him towards aesthetic medicine as both a creative and clinical discipline.

Dr Land has been practising as an aesthetic doctor for over 12 years, during which time he has developed a particular focus on lip augmentation, non-surgical rhinoplasty, and full-face rejuvenation treatments, including complex filler revision cases. He is known within the industry for a natural aesthetic style and has developed his own cross-tenting lip technique. His background in emergency medicine has also informed a specialist interest in complication management and the use of ultrasound in aesthetic practice, with Novellus recognised as a complications centre for the North East.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr Land is an active figure in aesthetic education. He runs his own training academy, Novellus Training, and teaches for a number of leading companies including Neauvia, Nuceiva, and Nuchido. He founded a regional support group for practitioners across the North East and beyond, which has grown to over 800 members, and established the North East Aesthetics Forum, a regular in-person training and networking event. He has written articles for several aesthetic journals, spoken at national and international conferences including ACE, IMCAS, RAMCE, and AMWC Monaco, and serves on the editorial advisory board of Aesthetic Medicine magazine. He is a Key Opinion Leader for Neauvia Dermal Fillers, Nuceiva botulinum toxin, and Nuchido, and is a brand ambassador for the Nuchido Time supplement range.

Dr Land currently sees patients at Novellus Aesthetics, based at 1 Benton Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, with an additional clinic in Morpeth, Northumberland. He approaches every consultation with a thorough assessment and an emphasis on understanding the individual concerns and goals of each patient, working collaboratively to create bespoke treatment plans that deliver natural, considered results.
