Medical Director of Clinic Sese, Piroska Cavell, began her medical career in 2010 when she graduated from Canterbury Christchurch University as a Midwife. Formerly in the worlds of fashion and beauty as a make-up artist, hair stylist, and beauty therapist. Her journey into aesthetics stemmed from a chance conversation with a colleague who suggested she could combine her former career with her medical knowledge and passion for women's health and wellbeing by entering aesthetic medicine.
That was in 2015. Fast forward to 2024 and she has just added an MSc in Cosmetic Medicine to her extensive aesthetic training and postgraduate PgDip in Obesity and Weight Management and a PgCert in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing.
Piroska is a key opinion leader for ReLife Company and trains other practitioners in London and at her training academy, Sese Skills, in the postgraduate centre of The Spencer Private Hospital where her clinic is based. She is an experienced speaker and in 2023 talked as part of SIAB at Aesthetic Medicine Live and independently presented, Developing a Weight Management Plan. She also spoke independently at MIA in February 2023 and in January 2024 at the BACN regional conference. She is a member of RCN, BACN, ACE, and CMAC. Alongside her role as a contributing author for Consulting Room, she has written for Aesthetic Medicine, Aesthetic Journal, Marie Claire, Learna, Glowday, Yahoo and more.
