Hair and scalp health is one of the fastest-growing and most exciting fields in aesthetics, with a projected growth of 15.4% over the next five years.

Always striving to bring its customers the latest and most innovative regenerative technology on the market, Aesthetic Medical Partnership (AMP) has unveiled a new offering that meets this growing need – DE|RIVE.

DE|RIVE Daily Hair Support Serum is an addition to the EXO|E family of products. It is specifically formulated from the latest bio-based, patented plant-derived nanoparticle technology, allowing for continuous support to help nourish the skin and scalp while improving the appearance of thicker, fuller hair. DE|RIVE is shown to increase levels of Cytokeratin 15 in the bulge, the presence of which is known to be crucial in hair growth.

DE|RIVE is 100% natural, hormone and chemical-free, made from plant factors, and suitable for all skin types.

It can be used in clinics as a standalone treatment or in combination with procedures such as microneedling, RF microneedling and ultrasound. The treatment is commonly used alongside AMP’s AquaFirmeXS, a second-generation multifunctional dermal health workstation that cleanses, exfoliates, hydrates and nourishes the skin to treat a variety of concerns from pigmentation, blemishes and textural irregularities to dullness, dehydration and hair and scalp health, utilising the ULTRA applicator, which uses low-level ultra-sound to painlessly ensure the product is delivered deeper into the scalp.

The 60ml take-home dropper can also help supplement the in-clinic treatment for continuous, uninterrupted support for 30 days, leading to healthier skin and scalp and the appearance of thicker, fuller hair.

The benefits:

  • DE|RIVE is exclusively dispensed through clinics
  • Offers a new avenue in the hair loss and scalp health market
  • New revue streams from retail sales
  • At-home and in-clinic applications

Miss Sherina Balaratnam, surgeon, cosmetic doctor and medical director of S-Thetics Clinic, was the first to introduce the product to her clinic. She says, “I am excited to be the first clinic in the UK and Europe and one of the first globally, outside of the US, to introduce the UK’s first completely plant-derived exosome product for hair loss.”

“I have spent over eight years understanding ingredient formulations and the science behind how botanically derived topical skincare works. I have curated bespoke protocols with these topicals to produce highly regenerative results for my patients.

“Together with my previous knowledge and understanding of cell signalling from my research time at the University College of London (UCL 2004-5), these learnings have developed my knowledge of regenerative skin science.

“EXO|E delivers the next phase of topicals to fill in the missing links, such as the regeneration of one’s own elastin, hyaluronic acid and collagen production, up-regulated endogenously. And now, its recent addition to the family, DERIVE, in just a short space of time, has shown fast and reproducible results with hair loss, hair thinning and dry, itchy scalp conditions, and I am delighted to have this as a treatment in my practice.”

“This illustrates the depth and breadth of the robust science, clinical validation and manufacturing processes behind EXO|E, and now DERIVE.”
