Vanessa Bird, business consultant and founder of The Aesthetic Consultant®, was honoured to be invited by the organisers of the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology (IACD) Congress 2025, held in Budapest from 3–6 July.
The prestigious event, hosted at the Budapest Congress Centre, brought together world leaders in cosmetic dermatology, physicians and scientists. Vanessa was invited to deliver two expert presentations to a global audience of dermatologists, aesthetic practitioners, and thought leaders.
Her first lecture, “Top 10 Communication Techniques That Build Trust and Drive Compliance,” explored powerful, ethical strategies practitioners can use to enhance consultation outcomes and strengthen patient relationships. Her second session, “Top 10 Expert Tips for Creating a 5-Star Patient Experience in Cosmetic Dermatology,” shared practical techniques for elevating the entire patient journey.
Vanessa commented:
“It was a privilege to be part of such a respected global congress, and to contribute alongside so many leaders in the field. My talks were designed to give dermatologists practical takeaways they can apply straight away to improve patient trust, satisfaction, and long-term business growth.”
Also representing the UK faculty, Dr Nisha Menon of Nish Clinic, was invited to present her clinical experience in “Cellular Rejuvenation with Broadband Light: How BBL Transforms Ageing Skin.” Her session highlighted the science and real-world impact of BBL technology on skin quality and cellular health.
Both Vanessa and Dr Menon were guests at the official Gala Dinner Cruise hosted by the IACD on the River Danube, an evening that celebrated international collaboration, innovation, and excellence in aesthetic medicine.
