MedFx has been appointed the official professional supplier for Dermalogica PRO in the UK, bringing the professional skin health brand into the medical aesthetics supply chain for the first time through an exclusive partnership.

The agreement will give healthcare professionals access to Dermalogica PRO’s professional treatment packages, homecare and CPD-accredited education through a single specialist medical aesthetics supplier.

The partnership comes as clinics increasingly look beyond individual aesthetic treatments and towards a more comprehensive approach to skin health. With patients seeking improvements in skin quality alongside injectables and energy-based procedures, practitioners are being asked to offer credible, protocol-led skincare solutions that complement their wider treatment programmes.

The collaboration combines Dermalogica PRO’s education-led approach and four decades of skin health expertise with MedFx’s established experience in medical aesthetics distribution and pharmacy supply.

Professional Treatment Packages Available from Launch

Dedicated professional packages will be available to healthcare professionals through MedFx, with two core treatment routes initially forming the focus of the offering.

The first is a microneedling package centred around the Pro Pen system, while the second is a chemical peel package built around the Pro Power Peel collection.

Both treatment routes are supported by professional back bar formulas, alongside a focused retail range designed for patient homecare.

This approach allows clinics to incorporate professional Dermalogica PRO treatments into their existing services while also providing patients with products to support their skin between appointments.

By combining in-clinic protocols with homecare, practitioners can take a more joined-up approach to ongoing skin health and help patients maintain their results beyond the treatment room.

Education at the Centre of the Partnership

Education is a key element of the new Dermalogica PRO and MedFx partnership.

Each professional package provides complimentary access to a bespoke CPD-accredited education platform developed specifically for healthcare professionals.

The platform combines flexible digital learning with expert-led practical training, allowing practitioners to build their knowledge around the treatments and protocols at a pace that suits them.

In-person day courses will also run alongside the digital education programme, providing practitioners and their wider clinic teams with a structured route towards treatment confidence and consistent protocol delivery.

For clinics introducing new professional skincare treatments, this combination of digital learning and practical education can provide an opportunity to ensure that the whole team understands the products, protocols and patient journey.

Bringing Skin Health Further Into Medical Aesthetics

The partnership reflects the increasing overlap between professional skincare and the wider medical aesthetics sector.

While injectables, energy-based devices and other aesthetic procedures remain important elements of many clinic treatment plans, skin health is increasingly being considered as part of the overall patient journey.

For practitioners, having access to a recognised professional skincare brand alongside appropriate treatment protocols, education and homecare can provide a way to incorporate skin health more systematically into their offering.

Cirsten Hannken, General Manager, Dermalogica UK & Ireland, said:

"We're excited to extend our professional network through this partnership with MedFx. It's an important step in bringing our advanced PRO treatments including our microneedling and chemical peel protocols, to more healthcare professionals, backed by the same education-led approach that has underpinned Dermalogica's professional heritage for 40 years. We look forward to welcoming this new community of practitioners and supporting them with the training and protocols they need to deliver consistent, credible results for their clients."

A Single Supplier for Treatment, Homecare and Training

For MedFx, the partnership is designed to respond directly to demand from its healthcare professional customer base.

Rather than sourcing professional treatments, retail homecare and education separately, practitioners will be able to access the Dermalogica PRO offering through MedFx.

John Thomson, Managing Director at MedFx, said:

“Our customers have been asking for a skin health offer they can put their name to, and Dermalogica PRO answers that. This is a brand with 40 years behind it and a genuine commitment to education, which is exactly how our customers work. Becoming the official pharmacy partner means practitioners can now source the professional packages, the homecare and the training from a supplier they already trust, rather than piecing it together.”

The move also positions MedFx as a single point of access for healthcare professionals looking to introduce Dermalogica PRO’s professional treatment protocols into their clinics.
