Celebrating Success at the Scottish Aesthetic Conference

Scottish Aesthetic Conference
By Scottish Aesthetic Conference

The Scottish Aesthetic Conference is for all medical aesthetic practitioners as well as those looking to start in the medical aesthetics industry.

As we reflect on the wonderful experience at the 4th Annual Scottish Aesthetic Conference (SAC), it’s clear that this event has firmly established itself as the must-attend gathering for medical aesthetic professionals in the aesthetics field, both in Scotland and beyond. With a vibrant atmosphere and a shared commitment to elevating industry standards, this year’s conference left participants feeling inspired, informed, and eager for next year’s event!

A Thriving Atmosphere

From the moment attendees stepped into the Hilton Glasgow, the energy was palpable. The conference room  was  filled with the sounds of enthusiastic conversations as leading practitioners, newbies, and industry stalwarts connected over their shared passion for aesthetic medicine. SAC 26 is all about providing great education provided ensuring every delegate left with valuable knowledge and skills to enhance their practice. As well as providing a meeting place for people to connect as let’s face it most aesthetic professionals particularly in Scotland work on their own.

World-Renowned Speakers

This year, we were incredibly honored to host prominent figures in the aesthetic field, including Dr. Lonny Green from the USA and Dan Julien from Canada. Their presentations were one of the highlights of the day, Lonny focusing on his anatomy based  approach to forehead contouring & lower face rejuvenation while Dan updated us on his approach to Perioral & Lip Filler mastery as well as building your brand on social media. Attendees appreciated the emphasis on education, as our packed schedule featured expert-led sessions that catered to professionals at every stage of their career. Whether you were a newcomer or an experienced practitioner, there was something for everyone, and the inspiration was clear.

Aesthetic Business in Practice

New to the agenda this year, we introduced a parallel program focusing on the business side of aesthetics. Tailored for medical aesthetic professionals & this year their clinic managers and staff were invited to attend as well to expand their knowledge. The topics covered were invaluable, ranging from strategies for business growth, regulations, getting started in medical aesthetics, launching new treatments and services, maximizing social media impact to practical concerns like VAT and insurance. Fiona Bradley & Clare Bryson gave a really interesting talk on how they got started in medical aesthetics and how they brought skin resurfacing & rejuvenation laser technology into their clinic when they never thought they could! Our heartfelt thanks go to our Gold Sponsor and Official Insurance Partner, Hamilton Fraser, for supporting these crucial sessions. We’re excited to expand this aspect of the program even further for 2027!

Engaging Exhibitors & Partners

The success of SAC would not have been possible without our incredible exhibitors, sponsors, and partners. This year, we welcomed over 40 companies & organizations that enriched the event experience. Exhibitors reported fruitful conversations and promising leads, highlighting the importance of these connections in driving the industry forward.

Creating Community

This is one of the nicest things about the Scottish Aesthetic Conference its such a friendly event and we have built a great wee community in Scotland!!!

The conference fostered meaningful networking opportunities, nurturing collaborations, and sharing valuable advice as well as having a great opportunity to have fun too and the hotel bar was well attended too after the conference ended!

Future Proofing the Industry

Ultimately, the Scottish Aesthetic Conference’s success stems from its ability to unite a diverse group of professionals through a common vision: advancing aesthetic medicine in a responsible and innovative manner. It’s about more than just staying current with trends; it’s about shaping a brighter, ethically responsible future.
