The Norup Clinic is owned and run by Dr Mette Norup, BDS, who delivers all treatments. Mette graduated as a dentist in Copenhagen in 1987 and started her own private and fully comprehensive cosmetic dental practice immediately thereafter. In 1994 she moved to the UK, specialising in periodontal disease and dental implantology. Mette spent more than 10 years working as a specialist in more than 15 different private cosmetic dental clinics, treating serious periodontal disease and major dental rehabilitation cases, as well as undertaking periodontal plastic surgery. She has researched bone grafting procedures and implantology at the leading postgraduate centre at the Eastman Dental Institute, and has attended many postgraduate courses and carried out continuous research in the fields in which she practices. Mette left dentistry in 2002 and has since specialised in medical aesthetics. She has extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and surgical procedures. She has vast knowledge and experience in all non-invasive cosmetic surgery fields and is a full-time medical aesthetician. Mette is a member of: Anti-Ageing Conference London (AACL) British Society of Periodontology (BSP) Danish Dental Association (DDA) General Dental Council (GDC) International Academy Of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) Dental Association for Facial Aesthetics (CODE AFA) She is also certified by the CQC Care Quality Commission and has full indemnity insurance.
