I had a series of 4 treatments done over 1 year 1 treatment every 3 months, after the swelling and redness resolved, scars still visible, it is now over a year since last treatment, and scars are there as if I never had the pixel done. Does not work for acne scars.

I had Pixel Erbium Laser done on my eye area. I dont have wrinkes, fine lines or crow feet but I do have eye bags. After doing the laser treatment, there are some fine lines on my eyes which I dont have before. This treatment damage my epidermis and outer dermis layer. My doctor told me is an non ablative laser resurfacing but i read is a ablative resurfacing. I dont think so my epidermis may grow back to its original thickness. Even if it grow back, it will be a fragile and weak epidermis and sooner or later it will sink into the dermis layer. My skin is without the epidermis layer now, its so fragile and premature wrinkling can occur anytime. Pls give your comment.

I started having pixel harmony treatment on 28th may 2011. It is now 18 hours since my 3rd treatment. I am having it done as i have acne scarring to my face, neck and back/shoulders. There has been definate change in the ''''look'''' of my skin overall however i can still see the scarring so im nit 100% happy yet. I know its not a miracle laser and my scarring will be reduced but when? My lady who does this tells me it will be a year until i see dramatic results; apparently thus is because the skin starts to repair itself and after a year it has finished and skin looks at its best. She did tell me effects would be highly visible after my 3rd treatment too so im really excited about a week from now so i can see!!! For my first and second treatment i had redness and minimal swelling for 24 hrs then the grid spots appeared. My back kept these for around 9 days, my face only peeled for 3 days then gone! This time however my skin looks different to the other treatments as i dont seem to feel the pain as much?!?! Although she did ask what pain was like the last time and as i said worse than 1st she put alot of anaesthetic cream on this time. Does this cream affect the density of the laser? I have no idea if thus laser is eryag, ablative, fractional etc, she did tell me at my consultation but im useless and forgot! I think its an erbium yag ablative, definately an alma model.
