The worst experience ever. Don`t let anyone convince you to do this results are bad - considering the extreme pain

I felt compelled to leave a review after reading the negative ones left. Both the reviews are referring to the same surgeon and I have to assume the fault it of the doctor and not the product itself. I had my breform uplift procedure done in 2011 in Belgium... I went there as it was £3000 cheaper than the UK. This was a huge gamble as you hear horror stories, I spoke with my surgeon via email sending photos and measurements and made the decision to go for it. I was 32dd no children but droopy breasts. I ended up with 32c perky breasts and its the best thing I ever did... They''re not perfect but they are very close to perfect and I never have to wear a bra!

Recovery was fine obviously some pain but I stayed in a hotel the night following procedure then went back to have drains taken out the next day.

Maybe I was lucky but the breform system works!!

I had Breform by Dr Peet van Deventer a few years ago. I experienced extreme pain following the surgery. My results were so poor that I have had to have a total of three revision surgeries following the Breform. I will never look as good as I would have if I had just had traditional lift without the deformation caused by Breform.

When I reported my complications to Dr van Deventer he suggested that my BMI may be too LOW to have good results with Breform. My BMI is within the normal healthy range, low 20''s, nothing unusual.

I see that another poster with poor Breform results was told by Dr van Deventer that her BMI was too HIGH.

I wish that I had never heard of Breform or Dr. van Deventer. This product has caused great hardship in my life.

I had a Breform mesh inserted in 2012 - I sought it out to avoid the inevitable ptosis that would happen if I got a regular mastopexy. Well, mine fell down about 6 months post surgery and look just as saggy as before and when I contacted Dr Peet van Deventer about this, he was quite rude to me and blew me off, calling me obese and saying that I shouldn''t have had the surgery to begin with because I was overweight. (My BMI was within the recommended range actually - below 26 which is the maximum.) I now have problems with many hard lumps in my breasts that cannot be dismissed in a manual breast exam and, lately, terrible pain as well. My breasts constantly ache, kind of like they do when one is pregnant, but more painful and with burning. I can''t jog on a treadmill or jump or do anything that will cause them to bounce because they hurt for days afterwards. I am going to get mine removed in the coming year - I think I may go for a mastectomy because I can feel how the mesh has grown into my breast tissue and I think it might be easier to just remove the entire breast.

Had a reduction and Breform fitted in Johannesburg, South Africa. Results are great and given me so much more confidence. The reduction has also improved back and neck problems.
