Dr Patrick Treacy Becomes Honorary Ambassador For Ukrainian Victims

The NGO Ukrainian Center for Volunteering has announced Dr Patrick Treacy as an Honorary Ambassador for the Neopalymi project - A charitable initiative that aims to provide free aesthetic rehabilitation to war veterans and civilians in Ukraine who have suffered burn injuries and scars as a result of the ongoing conflict.

The Neopalymi aesthetic medicine initiative unites clinics across Ukraine to give those who suffered disfiguring injuries in war the opportunity to undergo a course of treatment and get a chance for a new life free of charge. Its mission is to help every Ukrainian recover from the war's severe consequences.

Since the start of their project in the middle of 2022, they have already helped over 100 patients to regain their confidence and improve their quality of life through a range of medical procedures, such as laser treatments, skin grafts, and scar revision surgeries. Their team of experienced medical professionals works tirelessly to provide the best possible care and support to those in need.

As an Ambassador, Dr Treacy will play a vital role in promoting the project, raising awareness of their mission, and helping them to reach even more patients in need. His involvement would not only help to improve the lives of those who have suffered as a result of the conflict in Ukraine, but it also helps to promote the importance of accessible and affordable healthcare for all.

Although all the doctors participating before the war were engaged in creating beauty - now we are not restoring beauty, we are returning people's quality of life and joy in their eyes."
