LLM BSc RGN RM INP FRSPH

As an experienced nurse I have been involved in medical aesthetics for over seventeen years and run my clinic, Cosmecare, on the south coast in Hampshire. I specialise in a range of anti-ageing treatments including dermal fillers, the use of the botulinum A toxin, chemical peels and the removal of thread veins from the face and legs. I offer a referral service to a dermatologist, cosmetic surgeons and vascular surgeons.

I was the last Chair of the Forum for Aesthetic Nurses at the Royal College of Nursing where we aimed to improve standards in aesthetic nursing and contributed to policy development within the RCN and nationally. The Competency framework which has been reaccredited was one of our achievements. Following the annexation of the forum I co-founded the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and am its past President. Its aims are to unite all aesthetic nurses and facilitate training, education and continual professional development. I also serve on the Board of the British Association of Sclerotherapists (BAS).

Following my consultancy work in litigation as an accredited Expert Witness my interest in this field prompted me to undertake the Masters Degree in Medical Law and Ethics. I graduated in 2015.
