Ron helps aesthetic clinics and suppliers to maximise their profits. With a proven business background in identifying and capitalising on trends, and with a love of the natural world, Ron is keen to champion and incorporate sustainability issues in the Aesthetic arena.

After a career in the pharmaceutical industry, which included being involved in the launch of Botox® in 1994, Ron, with his business partner Martyn Roe, set up a consultancy business called Aesthetic Business Services. They helped to develop Wigmore Medical’s “one-stop-shop” concept for aesthetic suppliers and launched the FACE conference, www.faceconference.com, in 2002.

Nichola qualified as a dentist in 1995. From the most deprived communities in downtown Johannesburg, the Saudi Arabian airforce, NHS dental practice, to running a successful private dental practice of her own, Nichola has experienced a wide variety of practice. She now devotes herself to growing her aesthetic practice in Elgin, Scotland. She believes her secret to success and being able to charge premium prices in her area is; tapping into the right market, focusing on quality and service and marketing herself in unconventional ways.

Lorna Jackson has been the Editor of Consulting Room, the UK's largest aesthetic information website since 2003. After over 18 years, she now holds a consultancy role with the company as Consultant Editor. In 2021, Lorna launched her bespoke copywriting and content creation service for aesthetic businesses.

Lorna is also an industry commentator on a number of different areas related to the aesthetic and cosmetic surgery industry; collating and evaluating clinical data, news and statistics, and writing a variety of content on the subject. In her role at Consulting Room, she was responsible for the quarterly-printed magazine, blogs and feature articles.

Kelly McCready has been in nursing for 21 years and practising in aesthetics for 4 years.

She practises from her new clinic in West Sussex. She also has a clinic running in a Day Spa locally.

Kelly offers various skin rejuvenation treatments alongside injectables. She enjoys the variety in her treatments and the difference it makes to her clients' lives.


As competition has increased, so has the pressure on average prices charged across injectables, lasers and many other services promoted in the non-surgical aesthetics market. As price is a major factor in maintaining gross profit margins it’s imperative that every business works from their cost base to calculate their price and position in the market to ensure that they have a sustainable model. In addition, unless you can squeeze expenses out of your business, increasing your prices over the next decade will be key to continued healthy profits. This session explores price pressures and how to overcome them in your business.
