Answer: An initial consultation with our surgeon Mr Gateley is £250 and then an approximate cost for mole removal would be in the region of £650 if carried out under a local anaesthetic in an outpatient setting. Any histology requested would be an additional £220.

Answer: I treat moles with short-wave diathermy which shrinks the mole down to skin level and removes its colour. Nothing is removed as such. The mole must have been seen by a Dr within the last 6 months. Each treatment is £80. Usually, one or two treatments are sufficient. My contact details are in my profile

Answer: Thank you for your email enquiry.

We are an advanced skin care clinic where we specialise in lesion and mole removal. Our Doctor Fatima Ahmed who specialises in dermatology would see you for a consultation first, during which she will thoroughly assess the mole, offer a test patch with the laser used and give you advice regarding removal. It may be necessary to offer a biopsy if there is any concern regarding a mole before removal, always ensuring your safety is our priority. This is a service we offer in the clinic. The sample is then sent to the Spire Alexandra Hospital for a full histopathology report.

Mole Removal is becoming a popular procedure because the NHS has reduced the amount of procedures they will carry out. Laser removal is a safe and effective procedure that is quick with fantastic results and with minimal, if any, scarring. A local anaesthetic will be administered prior to removal, making your appointment painless. We can then remove your mole quickly and accurately with our Er. Yag Laser. A small white mark is all that is usually left but a small scar may result. Generally, the area is left unmarked and clear within about two weeks.

The costs are as follows:
Consultation: £165.00 (£50 deposit payable upon booking)
Consultation under 18 £95.00 (£50 deposit payable upon booking)
Biopsy (if needed): from £250
Removal: from £350 for small (large £450

Please note that a personal quote will be given to you at consultation after Dr Fatima has done her assessment. Please note Dr Fatima is on sabbatical until Thursday 27 April, we are therefore taking bookings for the beginning of May.

If you have any further questions or would like to book in your consultation, please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to help.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Answer: Hi,

If it is a mole then we cannot remove it. However if it is a seborrheic wart, solar keratosis or skin tag then we can remove it using cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen). The cost is £120.

If it is a mole then you will need minor surgery.
