I have been a nurse for 14 years and a nurse practitioner for the last 5 years.  I am also a qualified independent Nurse Prescriber.

My role at Skin Appeal is strictly the safety of the client, to ensure that the client has an understanding of how the treatment works, any possible side effects, to discuss the different products and other non-invasive avenues that maybe open to the client, by doing this the client can then give informed consent regarding any treatment they require.

Like with any medical procedure it is essential for the safety of the person receiving the treatment that all safety aspects are covered, here at Unit Six we take pride in ourselves that have all policies and procedures in place along with safety equipment.

We are always looking to improve the service and keep in constant touch with the makers of all products and are currently looking at  Belotero® - staying young - longer, and how this dermal filler is a new type, to not only to instantly improve lines and wrinkle, but actively encourage the production of collagen to allow the procedure to last for longer. Merz pharmaceuticals have invited us as a clinic to participate in ongoing training using this product.

The anti wrinkle products we use at the moment are Botox and Azzalure both are Botulinum toxins type A - these are the most common products in use at present.

For a long time I have felt passionate about providing care that would help people with their psychological issues regarding their appearance and inner feelings. This drove me to train in aesthetic nursing.

I am a fully Qualified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner for the last 3 years, and registered nurse with the Royal College of Nursing .  I also provide chemical facial peel treatments.

I now work to provide these non-surgical cosmetic treatments in order to give my clients the outcome they desire.

I provide individualised one-to-one care in a relaxed and trendy environment. I provide a free consultation and customised treatment plan for each client. This is to ensure you receive appropriate treatments.
