As well as addressing the primary issues involved in cosmetic surgery such as the surgeon, the risks, the costs etc., it also tackles topics such as whether cosmetic surgery (in this case breast implants) could change the relationship between a couple.

So on the one hand, this seems like a gimmicky book, a bit of a lad’s laugh because it’s about boobs, but really it demonstrates the often forgotten side of cosmetic surgery, one person may be going under the knife but they really need to think about how that may also affect their partners and immediate family members who all have feelings and concerns that they’re trying to deal with whilst also trying to be as supportive as they can.
