Search for a REVIV clinic in your local area.
REVIV was established in 2010 and promotes itself as the market leader in IV nutritional therapies. By the end of 2015 they could demonstrate 31,200 treatments performed worldwide, emanating from both globally based flagship clinic locations in the USA, UK and South Africa, which just offer REVIV treatments, and so called REVIV Express partner clinics.
REVIV believe that their global branding is key, hence they often promote their brand through A-lister celebrities, but maintain that having a sound medical base is also paramount.
The REVIV brand offers both IV hydration and instant booster shots as part of their portfolio.
Intravenous or IV Nutritional Therapy using Intravita products delivers a specific cocktail of electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients directly into your bloodstream - intravenously through insertion of a cannula into a vein in your arm.
The REVIV range uses a variety of primary components which can then be utilised to formulate their proprietary IV infusions. Core ingredients in their range include glutathione and a vitamin B-complex 100 which is a solution that contains thiamine hydrochloride (100mg), riboflavin 5’ phosphate sodium (2mg), pyridoxine hydrochloride (2mg), dexpanthenol (2mg) and niacinamide (100mg) per millilitre of solution. Also, magnesium sulphate which is in a 100ml, 5% dextrose solution and is available in 1 or 2% concentrations, the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) Ketorolac (Toradol) for pain relief and Pepcid (Famotidine) which is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist.
REVIV is the only range on the market which incorporates an anti-emetic in the form of Ondansetron (Zofran) as a prevention against nausea and vomiting (included in the Ultraviv and Royal Flush) and a steroid in the form of Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate (Decadron).

Supplements providing that no medical claim is made about them. UK regulators are looking at whether the use of an anti-emetic means that it falls under their scope of further regulation.

Minor side effects from this treatment include bruising and tenderness at the needle insertion point, with potential for inflammation of the vein (thrombophlebitis) due to the cannulation. These should be temporary and normally resolve in two or three days.
Some people may feel a little faint or light headed immediately after treatment and need to wait before leaving the clinic.
Various complications can occur both during and after intravenous cannulation including pain, difficulty introducing the cannula, arterial puncture, blood clot formation, infection and necrosis. Rarely an allergic reaction could cause anaphylaxis.
The REVIV intravenous treatments cost up to £199 per session (£149 for the Hydromax), or £349 for the Royal Flush premium product, with the booster injections costing up to £85.
